A bit about Us

WHO (World Health Organisation) defines positive mental health as
‘a state of wellbeing in which the individual realises their own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully and is able to make a contribution to their community.’

At Trick Box we believe that individuals of all ages can positively influence their own wellbeing and thrive by developing personal Happy Life Habits to get the most from life whilst navigating life’s challenges and change, both in the here and now and for the future.

All we need are a few tricks up our sleeves!

Evidence-based

Created by Social Scientist, personal and performance coach, author and trainer Suzanne Miles, all our Trick Box programmes are built around the evidence-based resources, strategies and research into our Early Years, Primary and parent/carer programmes with objective studies conducted by Bournemouth University Psychology Department in 2012, 2016 and 2018/19 using research data from over 1,000 children and 200 parents.

2018-19 Senior Lecturer Dr Ching Yu Huang  Effectiveness of Trick Box Early Years + Primary Resources

It is a pleasure to see a well-designed and accessible teaching programme work so well.”
